Little Kingdom Academy serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We will be open January-December, Monday-Friday. No child will be denied admission based on race, religion, or handicap. We do retain the right to deny admission if all our slots for a child’s age group are filled.


Hours of Operation:
Monday- Friday 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. 

The state law is that childcare is limited to 10 hours per day.

Closings:
The daycare will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day – January 1st
  • Good Friday – March 29th
  • Memorial Day – May 27th
  • 4th of July – July 4th
  • Labor Day – September 2nd
  • Thanksgiving Break – November 28th – 29th
  • Christmas Break – December 23rd – 27th

Enrollment Procedures:
To enroll your child at Little Kingdom Academy, there is necessary paperwork that will need to be completed prior to the beginning of care. We cannot assume care for your child/children if the necessary paperwork, fees, and supplies are not received. All information will be kept confidential and is for our records only. If any information listed on the enrollment form changes, it is your responsibility to inform the center of the changes, so updates can be made in your file.

Tuition:
Though the daycare does not always increase tuition costs on an annual basis, we reserve the right to do so with a minimum of 30 days’ notice to families enrolled.

Registration Fee:
$25 upon registration of Child/Children

Supply Fee:
$25 due annually by March 15.

Payment Schedule:
We have a “No Pay, No Play” Policy. Payments will be made in advance for childcare and are due no later than pick-up time Monday afternoon each week. We accept payment in the form of cash, credit/debit card, and personal check. Make checks payable to: Little Kingdom Academy.  Accounts not paid in full by drop-off Monday morning will be assessed a $5.00 late fee per day until payment is received. Care will also be suspended until the overdrawn account is paid in full.

Attendance:

  • Payment obligation is based on the time slot you agree to use for childcare, not to actual hours of attendance. All tuition fees will be charged based on contracted days including missed days due to illness, holidays, or inclement weather. No refunds or deductions will be made for days your child is absent.
  • You are paying for your child’s childcare space as well as our services.
  • Please be courteous and call/text if your child will not be attending that day so we do not worry about them.

Leave of Absence:
We cannot hold a child’s space while you are on maternity leave, not working, or on extended vacation, unless you continue to pay for childcare services. To reserve your child’s space during the absence, 1⁄2 (HALF) price of the weekly tuition will be required. Failure to secure the space prior to the absence will result in the loss of your childcare space.

Items provided by Parents:

  • Diapers, pull-ups, and wipes for children that require these items.
  • Extra change of clothes for accidents. Please include seasonal appropriate items of clothing and change them out when seasons change.
  • Blanket for nap/rest time.
  • Baby bottles (Labeled with date, time, and name) and baby food.

Little Kingdom Academy will provide 1 type of formula, if you wish for your child to use their own formula, please bring already prepared baby bottles labeled with date, time, and name.

Immunizations:

Each child should have an immunization record on file and kept up-to-date. Immunization records are to be submitted within 30 days of enrollment. A signed affidavit against such immunizations is submitted within 30 days from enrollment if you do not wish to have your child immunized.

Safety:
Parents are required to escort their children to the classroom each morning and sign them in. They must retrieve their child from the classroom in the afternoon and sign them out. Please be in control of your child during pick up times. At pick up, please do not let your children leave the building without you. Children are not permitted to go out to their car unattended. For your protection, Little Kingdom Academy will not allow an unauthorized person to take any child from the center without written parental permission.
